Only some of Treasured Tapestries designs are available for sale and download. I will be working to make them all available, but it will take time since some of the patterns need to be recharted.

1. Go to the Thumbnails page and click on the design you're interested in. Designs will be marked 'Available for Purchase' if they are available to buy.

2. On the design page, there will be a price and an add to cart button after the description.

3. Click on the add to cart button to bring you to Paypal to pay for your design. Paypal allows you to pay with a credit card, debit card, or through a deduction from your checking/savings account. All you need is an email address to use Paypal.

4. I will receive notification from Paypal of your purchase. Within 48-72 hours, I will send you the files needed (or a link to the files needed ) for the design you purchased.

5. Designs offered as Patternmaker files will be 'zipped' for faster downloading - you may use Winzip (a free download) to 'unzip' the file before opening. Pattern & instruction files may be 2 kinds.

a. Patternmaker file - Open & print with the free Patternmaker Viewer offered by Hobbyware, Inc., the makers of Patternmaker software.

NOTE: Some of the older Patternmaker charts use the .pat extension. If you have other software on your computer that uses the .pat extension (Corel Draw or PC Stitch are 2 I know of), you can still download the file. Once it is downloaded, open the Patternmaker file by right clicking on the file name and then on 'Open With' and choosing 'Patternmaker Viewer'.

b. PDF file - Open and print using Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded free. If you have trouble downloading a pdf file by left clicking, try this method instead: To download a pdf file, right click on the link, choose 'Save File as' or 'Save Target as' and save to your desktop or my documents. When the file finishes downloading, click on 'open.'

FOR ALL DESIGNS, I recommend downloading the Reading the Chart PDF file for basic stitching instructions and stitch diagrams for the most commonly used stitches in counted cross stitch. If you have trouble downloading the PDF file, you may download Reading The Chart as an MS Word doc file, also.

STITCH DIAGRAMS - For all designs go to the 'Stitch Diagrams' page - If any special stitches are used, they will be listed under the design name. You can click on the stitch diagrams listed and print them out to use while stitching.

HAIR, SKIN, NATIONALITY FLOSS COLOR CHANGES: For any designs with children or adults in them, a file is available with instruction to personalize the design by changing the hair and/or skin color for Caucasian or different nationalities. You may download this file: HairSkinNationalityChangesPDF
