The Angel Quilt Project Contact Information

The
Angel Quilt Project was founded as the Angel Afghan Project
on January 27, 2000 as a non-profit organization. Since that
time, a growing number of quilters and stitchers have donated
thousands of hand-made quilts to premature infants primarily
in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Requirements to join this project are easy - have a desire
to stitch a couple of panels per year.

You will need to download 'Patternmaker
Viewer' to open and print out the pattern and instructions for
'Nicky's
Angel.'
Pattern includes instructions for hair, skin, and eye color variations
as well as a variation to stitch the angel in blues and the baby
with a yellow blanket.
If
you prefer, the 'Nicky's
Angel' Pattern and Instructions
are also available in pdf format. You will need to download the
free Adobe Acrobat Reader if
you don't already have it installed on your computer.
Skin & Hair Color Variations
Below are images of the different color variations for
Caucasian and different Nationalities. Keep in mind, the skin color
variations for Black American are stitched as a blends of two colors
to achieve the proper shading for this nationality. But, the
software can only show one of the blended colors.
Feel free to be creative and mix and match the various hair
colors for the Baby and Angel as well as the different nationalities.
You may wish to stitch the Angel to match a special person in the
baby or child's life and the Baby to match the hair and skin colors
of the baby or child. This way each and every stitched piece is
particularly special. I hope you enjoy this pattern and that it
brings much pleasure to those the quilt is donated to.
